My name is Joe Angrisano and I'm the owner of DigiSquid. When I founded this company in 1999, my goal was to develop a design studio that caters specifically to small business. Mindful of this I work with a lot of small start ups, in fact over 1/3 of my customers have never had a website before. This makes me keenly aware of the needs of businesses just starting out on the web and gives me insight not afforded to some some of my competitors.
In addition to servicing small business customers I also work with a large network of developers providing design services for ad agencies, consultants and even web development companies. My strong background as a designer allows me to work hand in hand with developers to provide front end solutions for databases, websites and other web applications that require interface design.
As for some personal background on myself, I'm a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and I've been a designer since 1995. I'm trained as both a traditional artist and a technical writer so my skills are the perfect compliment to my trade. I also have experience in print design, prepress, photography, illustration and advertising. My work has been featured in USA Today, Web User Magazine and a wide variety of London Newspapers. I've also been featured in the Wall Street Journal and in 2002 I won the prestigious USA Today "Hot Site" Award for the development of a client website.

DigiSquid was featured in a short piece regarding bringing pets to work. At our main street office in Pennsylvania it was quite common to stumble upon our two mischievous ferrets should you happen to step in. Somehow the little guys managed to ham it up for national acclaim and landed us right in the Wall Street Journal. |
